What we do best :
• the manufacture of tube assemblies in aluminum alloys, stainless steels, titanium, nimonics and most other materials.
• the welding of tube assemblies using hand methods TIG and oxy-acetylene also auto methods using our orbital and rotateable welders. Hand and induction brazing available for most materials.
• the use of a variety of swaging methods : Permaswage, Sieracin Harrison swage, Metric swage and Flexirac (Raflex).
Patterning:
• Our specialist trained Coppersmiths often work with our customers on aircraft 'running' pipe patterns to assist with modifications & new build projects. We also offer a rapid A.O.G. service for all our customers.
Digital Product:

Using primarily Catia V5 we export data for bending and inspect to model data.
Our typical routing would be :
• orders are placed in our MRP system which is used for tracking of batches and recording of quality related data.
• process planning is carried out and job packs prepared.
• bend data is exported from CAD models, or derived from customer drawings and bending simulated in Eurobend ‘Bend Tools’ software.
• tube bending via hydraulic CNC, hydraulic manual or manual bending machines. The CNC machines are linked to our CMM (co-ordinate measuring machine) which feeds any corrections required back to the machine without further human intervention.
• the welding of assemblies and end fittings as required.
• our coppersmiths trim, set, flare and swage tubes and ensure a quality product.
• Non destructive testing is carried out in house using a PFD line and or pressure testing using air, nitrogen or water.
